| This
system runs twenty four (24) hours a day and seven (7) days a week.
Non-profit organizations, Not-for-profit groups, Educational, and
Government agencies may use BCTV's bulletin board for public
announcements. Messages appear as computer generated words and colors on
the TV screen when actual programs are not being cablecast. Information
and dated material is added and removed as needed. |
| Placing Public
Service Announcements (PSA’s) on the Community Bulletin Board. |
| A PSA is an announcement
intended to provide a service to the public. PSA’s provide information
about a non-commercial service in the public interest, announcements of
upcoming public events or safety information. |
| Only non-profit or
not-for-profit organizations, educational, and government agencies may
place a PSA on the Community Bulletin Board (CBB). |
| To place a PSA on the CBB use
the link below and fill out the form to submit your PSA to BCTV. If the
PSA is for a nonprofit organization a valid NPO number must be provided
with the form. |
| All PSA’s must include the
name of the sponsor, a contact person, and phone number where the public
may obtain additional information. |
| nformation regarding fees will
be limited to announcing that they exist. |
| All PSA’s must be submitted
a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the event. |
| All PSA’s will be removed
form the CBB following the event. If the PSA is not of an event the
announcement will be removed two (2) weeks after being placed on the CBB. |
